Cage: Destroy The Archetype Tour

he will be hitting Detroit next month (july 8th).. thinking about going. tickets are only $14. his last album was pretty damn good, in my opinion, and i wouldnt mind seeing him do some of those tracks live. id just be sitting there with my fingers crossed that he didnt do a bunch of his 'depart from me' tracks... "fat kids need an anthem" comes to mind... lol... fuck.

I could never listen to Cage after he pretty much told me (his old fans) to fuck off. I used to be the biggest fucking fan.

Fuck that faggot. I'd like to beat his ass because of how tough he talks when he isn't about any of that. I think I could take him and Copywrite at the same time (and their clones)    He's little emo girl.

funny.. i have a boy that says cage and copy were complete fucking assholes when he asked em for an autograph at a show, years back. made faces at each other like he was a nerd for asking.. then blew him off completely and walked away. because they are just so fucking cool...

i hate hearing shit like that. people, like my boy, who paid for tickets to shows and bought albums/merch deserve a handshake and a thank you. cage and copy are well known for their arrogant bullshit..

only experienced something like that once.. me and another homie ran into Proof (d12), a couple weeks before he was killed, at one of the detroit casinos. he came over with a good looking white girl and sat at my roullette table. i acknowledged him, said "what up proof." he says "what up." and we go about our gambling.. and thats where it should have ended... soon, my boy walks up like "damn! thats proof! whats up dawg!?" makes a slightly big deal, proof makes an annoyed face, him and his girl get up and leave a moment later. my boy is like "man, why he hoe me like that?"

simple answer: these dudes dont want you running up on them in public, at a bar, at a show, and acting like a fanboy. but on the other hand, they should expect it and at least be civil and cool about it.


and nah, i didnt end up going to cage's concert.. i was too busy being a lame fuck.

I met the singer of a local death metal band called Headbore after a gig. We took a pic and he said that's for being up the front and moshing etc. Next time I saw them, which was their official album launch, I got another pic and he took the cd if theirs I bought and found all his band mates who were scattered around the club and got everyone to sign it for me. That took him a good 20 mins at least. I was beyond grateful for that. Admittedly they're not known like Proof, but I thought it was cool none the less.

They need to expect it though. If I spend a part of my life listening to another dude's thoughts and ideas, I would like to get to meet him and know more. Ya know? I would be grateful and love if I had fans coming up to me like that. I'm a pretty empathetic person though. Most artists also, unfortunately, have MASSIVE egos though.
