linus, im looking through these rare cuts now, and this is going to be a lot harder than i thought it was. i cant tell you for sure about most of these. there are some that i know for sure are premonist's, but couldnt tell you all of them. when i go back to look at the places i found some of these, the tracks/sites are now deleted/missing. none of this was released, so there never were any official credits. prem did 99% of jack spairo, species, and doneone's last solos.

ill try to knock some out of the way:

thats about the best im going to be able to do at the moment. you created quite a job for yourself with this thread.. lol. maybe you should try hitting premonist up on youtube/etc?

you can find him on youtube at:

http://www.youtube.com/user/Thepremonist/videos
http://www.youtube.com/user/BobNaustic

but i couldnt tell you if he actually checks that shit or not. same with his myspace.. (no one checks their myspace anymore.. lol..)

listen to "mutations mix" on 'collections vol 1' bootleg, you can find some clips of more tracks he never released.
prem primarily seems to have worked with grim moses, doneone, species, judgement, and jack spairo lately.

sorry i cant help more. its been too many years.

im going to post the dark water albums later.

the ones you are unsure of that you typed "THINK SO" on, should I put them on the list?
and the volume 3. these are the songs that I don't know who did. What do you think?

Indrid Cold, Sunn Sunn, Gutta - wait now
Jack Spairo - beginning of a new era
Kahn, Judgement, Gutta - just us

im almost positive all 3 of those are premonist's beats.

go check the new "society of invisibles" thread, and grab the 2 "dark water merchant" albums. no premonist production i dont think, but its one of the 2 original rap crews that formed TSOI. "circle of the moon" is probably the better album.

im sure im missing one or two.. lol.. there were a lot of them..

many of them left, some came back, some new people now too.. dunno.. lost a bit of interest.. all these rappers and barely any material.. i really never understood it.. last i heard, Indrid Cold (one of my favorites of the group) had an album of some sort coming.. but just like "episode 19", sunn sunn's 'the haunting', and "judgement's grindhouse spectacular" i dont see anything happening..

I havn't got any more answers from Wizard Of odD and no answer at all from The Premonist... I don't know why. He said he was going to help. I sent another e-mail as a reminder to answer and even offered money for the cause but still no answer on that either. I hope he answers my e-mail in the future but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I did find out tho that The Premonist is the one doing all the scratching on the tracks. The Wizard Of odD doesn't scratch. So if you ever hear scratching on a Premonist, wizard or Decomposers track its' The Premonist doing it Smile

I found alternative versions of two song from Thou Shalt Dig it. I'm going to upload them. I am just going to hold on them for a few days if I get an answer from The Wizard Of odD with some music so I can make one bootleg insted of making a bootleg with two trackas and a new bootleg with more tracks in a couple of days. I really hope he answers...

I was thinking maybe I should but the mixes in a seperate folders. Because they have covers and eveything and where released seperatly. And then make a bootleg with the loose tracks. What do you guys think?

Also I have this album/mix cover:

Does anyone know where it's from? Anyone have the album/mix/track?

Fext wrote:I was thinking maybe I should but the mixes in a seperate folders. Because they have covers and eveything and where released seperatly. And then make a bootleg with the loose tracks. What do you guys think?
^this is what i was trying to explain back when you made your "vol 3"...

have you listened to the "collections" 1 & 2 i made? lol... those are ALL of the mixes he put out.. they are already in folders. there are no "solo beats" on them. each track is a mini compilation mix. when i uploaded them to you, before you re-tagged them, all the mp3s had their individual cover art attached to the mp3s and zips had all the individual covers inside also.

i was trying to keep all the compilation "mini mixes" together. i named the 2 bootleg EPs "collections" because the tracks on them were "collections" of demo 'mini-mixes' he put out. your "vol. 3" just has solo beats and interludes, and i used alot of them on the 'rare cuts 1-8' so that is why i didnt think naming yours "vol 3" was a good idea.. it didnt seem to fit with the other 2. your vol 3 is more of a "unreleased tracks, rarities, and extras" kinda thing.. but you seemed dead set on naming it 3, so i said go for it... but never really understood it...

he posted that "opium den" picture at the same time as "cemetary confinement", "smoke, death & blood" and "reveries" pictures. im not sure if it is another 'compilation mini mix' (like the other tracks on 'collections' 1 & 2") or what, but i dont think he ever shared it.

here are the other 'concept' covers he put up at, or around, the same time:

im pretty sure he had a comment on 'reveries' that said "may not be the actual album cover..." or something along those lines.. but ive never seen another cover for it. "cemetary confinement" & "smoke, death, blood" mixes are on 'collections vol. 2'.

Re: [DISCOG] The Decomposers/The Unordinaries (2006-2012)

Post by Fext on Wed Aug 14, 2013 5:25 am

Oh no you misunderstood me now. I was thinking to put each mix in a seperate folder. Because that's how they where released. You know what I'm saying?

About the album cover, I saw an iTunes link to Reveries and it had another cover on that link. Tho the link was down for some odd reason...
The cover was very similar to this, bit it said reveries on it:

I got an answer from Wizard of Odd again. He said:
The Wizard Of odD wrote:"Email the Premonist, he has it on his PC. My music pc is down until this weekend."
When I asked about the reveries album.

I've already tried contact The Premonist with no answer so I sent this:
Me wrote:I e-mailed him with no answer. Sad
Maybe you can tell him to help me or send it to me this weekend then?
So maybe we get Reveries this weekend. Wouldn't get my hopes up tho.

Yes. I cant buy it tho. Downloading for us costumers only. I got in touch with axiom-nonsens. He said prem is a very private guy and that he cant help me get in touch with him. Altho axiom-nonsens will talk to prem himself and get me eveything i am missing. So it looks good right now. I hope he keeps his words Smile

i doubt axiom would know the answer to that question.. and honestly, im not sure premonist would want him telling people where he got his samples from even if he did know.. a lot of producers like to keep those things to themselves.

Ok, so axiom havn't answered or sent any music Sad

BUT! Premonist has answered and corrected some in my collection and gave me some production credits so now I know what he produced on Far From Finished and he said he didn't produce anything on the Socierty Of Invisibles first album from 2006. He is also going to send me Reveries but he wants $10 for it. I'm currently broke as fuck but I'll buy it from him August 22nd when I have money again. Smile
