I had a thougth yesterday. I was thinking, when this forum blows up (if it doesn, but I think, as we share alot fo rare music) it will be crazy with people that are just random, acting crazy, being rude. But still some nice dudes to, I think. And we will remember this time like "I remember when it was just me, Nightmare, Steff, LiveWire, amatoxin, lisanap and them.. those where the days!". Hehe. I think it's pretty cool to be able to build this place and be here from the very start and see it grow. I hope this forum can stay active along time, even tho we share music. I think it will turn out good and I'm happy that so many nice people are here and are sharing and being generous.

yeah man, i remember thinking to myself "damn.. this was some good timing..." when i first found the forum and realized how new it was. ive been on more than a few boards this decade (various screen names..), and i gave up on all of them.. people are the same all over the internet.. cool to have a chill spot where people ARENT dickhead trolls and selfish leeching bastards.

i found the site digging for jak tracks, one of the most obscure rappers out there (lol). i knew who you were almost immediately when i read your name and remembered "to linus.. die happy" on the custom B23 pics on discogs, and realized this would be my next home. seems like we are already collecting a few true underground hip hop fans here, interested to see how popular this site gets..

EDIT: we need some hip hop girlies on here. not because im a perv (which i am), but just to brighten up the scenery. lol.

I'll be honest, because I have no reason not to be, when I happened upon this forum's Jak discography, I had no intentions of sharing back, so many warez forums are just that, a place for people to post random bullshit for other people to grab. But then I saw that you guys were actually legit fans of Jak, Goretex, etc. Since I moved away from NY 8 years ago, I haven't met anyone who even knows of Jak or Goretex.

this place is a ghost town.. although it is rather peaceful, we need to get a few new members in here..

also, i have a few ideas in mind for threads, but dont know where to put them..

one, for example, is a "grab bag" thread. i would put random cool shit (ebooks, e-mags, music, music videos, animation clips, small games, etc, etc) into un-labeled zip files. the rule would be for no one to mention the contents of the zips in the thread. ill post maybe 5 at a time, so you can grab 1 or 2.. or grab them all.. and the contents are completely random. if you dont want any of it, delete it, it was free.. but you might just get something cool you werent expecting.. if others caught on and did the same, it would be a fun thread. people have all kinds of shit sitting on their hard drives.. i would definitely check all zips with anti-virus before opening them though, if you didnt know/trust the uploader..

i have some cool shit, besides music, that i would probably post.. but dont know where to put it all..

if you change the name of the section from 'chit chat' to 'Random Shit!' or "Other Stuff!" we could keep it all in here... that could work... could make 'sticky's of all the BIG threads with cool shit in them, like in the music section..

going to have a couple days coming up with some free time, im going to try and post some shit and clean house a little.. nothing huge, but you should like what you see.

Yes something about download link must be because all of the threads are not going to be downloads. maybe people just wanna talk about some album and they name it: Jakprogresso - Random Violence, then people wont know what it is.
